Our origin story

JOURIE [jūrī]
Born from a garden in Nahle, Lebanon - a countryside home filled with fountains and pomegranate trees. The flowing Jourie script is not typography - it is calligraphy shaped by this garden.
The Jourie name comes from the fragrant rose known in Middle Eastern culture for its lingering scent-something you feel even after it's gone. Jourie is a tribute to a grandmother whose favorite flower was the gardenia - which sits at the heart of Jourie.

OUR PROCESS
Inspired by Arabic calligraphy and Middle Eastern warmth, nothing is mass-made. Every piece begins with a drawing. A calligrapher sketches each letter / name in the signature Jourie script before carefully transforming it into gold or silver in our Beirut brick and mortar. Every piece carries identity, sparks conversation, and holds deep personal meaning. Our hope is that each piece feels like a modern-day heirloom that is timeless, intimate, and lingers long after its first wear. From our family to yours.

OUR METALS
Each piece begins with a hand-drawn script and is brought to life using durable precious metals. Jourie uses sterling silver (925) and 18 karat (k) gold exclusively - metals known for their strength and timeless quality.
Whether you choose gold or silver, each piece is created to hold its beauty and meaning for years to come, becoming something that can be worn daily, remembered, and eventually passed on.
All gold pieces are crafted in solid 18k gold; meaning 18 parts pure gold (75%) and blended with 6 parts of an alloy (25%). This provides strength and durability to all pieces while preserving the rich color and warmth that gold is known for. This balance makes our gold ideal to be worn often and kept forever. Our gold is not filled, not vermeil, and never plated.
Our Gold
Jourie also offers pieces in sterling silver which carries a clean, luminous finish. All silver is marked 925, meaning the metal is composed of 92.5% pure silver and strengthened with a small amount of alloy for durability.
Our Silver

I created Jourie to share a world I grew up around - my family's jewelry shop in Beirut, Lebanon. That space has always been more than a store; it's where stories and memories are turned into jewelry.
With Jourie, my hope is to carry that experience beyond Beirut and into the lives of those who wear our pieces. I want you to spark a conversation and feel a sense of connection when you put on your jewelry and for it to become something you return to again and again.
From our family to yours,
